Ruda ÅšlÄ…ska - "Reconstruction of the tram infrastructure along Niedurnego Street"

Reconstruction of the tram infrastructure along Niedurnego Street in Ruda ÅšlÄ…ska on the section from Hutnicza to Grochowska Street (approx. 900 m of single track). Before the renovation, the track on the section intended for reconstruction took the form of one track built into the road. The contractor's task was to dismantle the surface and the base course. The new track was laid on prefabricated slabs. The works also included the reconstruction of the stops, drainage and felling of 29 trees.

The scope of work included, among others:

Preparatory and demolition works:

Tree felling and mechanical removal of trunks - 29.00 pcs.

Mechanical disassembly of the foundation made of mineral-bituminous masses - 2524.33 m2

Demolition of the track structure made of EPT-899 plates, 73 mtp

Dismantling of tracks 1435 mm wide on wooden sleepers with crossbars at welded joints of rails in the joint - 899, 73 mtp

Comprehensive reconstruction of the tram infrastructure with a length of 899.73 meters, including:

Tram track in prefabricated slabs, thickness 40 cm (floating rail) built in the road - 899.73 mtp

French type drainage - 899.73 mtp

Development and approval of projects for the organization of temporary and targeted traffic - 1 set.

Road works (road class Z):

• Comprehensive reconstruction of the roadway of Niedurnego Street on the section of 109 m, ie 860 m2

Strengthening the subgrade with a stabilization layer Rm = 2.5 MPa th. 20 cm

Foundation layer made of KLSM 0163 mm thick. 20cm

Layer of asphalt concrete foundation AG22P35 / 50 gr. 10 cm

Binding layer of asphalt concrete AC16W 35/50 gr. 6 cm

Wearing course of asphalt concrete AC8S 50/70 gr. 4 cm

• Restoration of the surface along the built-in tramway track - 1612.12 m2

Asphalt concrete foundation layer AC22P 35/50 gr. 10 cm

Binding layer of asphalt concrete AC16W 35/50 gr. 6 cm

Abrasion layer of asphalt concrete AC8S 50/70 gr. 5 cm

• Laying concrete curbs - 811.88 m

• Laying corneal curbs - 895.08 m

• Prefabricated corner wall of the platform with dimensions of 50x50x75 cm on a cement-sand bedding - 39.61 m

• Concrete edges - 59.00 m

• Concrete paving pavements 8 cm thick on a cement-sand bed - 1013.97 m2

• Sidewalks made of concrete slabs P40,40x40x6 cm (integration tile) on a cement-sand bedding - 32.80 m2

Accompanying works, including:

• Measurements of noise and vibrations (before and after the investment) - 1 set.
